Mother and daughter.  

While Lin sacrificing herself and her bending to save the Air family was depressing and upsetting, it was also poignant and beautiful.  She got to be the MOTHERFUCKING HERO of the entire episode, which is way better than being Bolin, where you get to keep your bending but only have two comic relief lines in the whole thirty minutes.
